Teluk Senangin Ride
Sunday, 31 January 2009 - There were 2 rides today in Manjung, first group is heading for Janamanjung Fellowship Ride 2010 route and second group is going for Teluk Senangin. As my legs still sore due to jogging yesterday, i decided to go for Teluk Senangin ride.
Teluk Senangin ride is relatively easy, there are few small climbs heading towards a beautiful seaside suitable for fishing. 8 of us rolled out with myself, Jasni, Ridzal, Remy and 4 young state riders. Together we ride into Tengku Bainun bridge where the first attack were made by one of the your state rider follow by Jasni.
As my legs still weak, i decided to take my own pace with Rizal. We regroup with the others remaining rider, however two of them are far ahead. Riding pace begin to speed up leading by the young state rider. I took over right after the Damar Laur junction and trying to close the gap. However, my legs doesnt seem too coorperate and i drop off just after turning into Teluk Senangin junction. For about 6km, i ride with Ridzal only until our stop near the beaches.
We took a long rest before heading back to Manjung. Once again, i drop off once i hit the open road before the bridge. I slow down and wait for Jasni. For the next 15km, i ride with Jasni till Manjung while the others are no where to be seen.
This sunday will be another long distance ride arrange by Doc Kumar.
Note : I'm organizing a small group ride up to Cameron Highlands in the month of Mac 2010, so lets prepare for this fun ride.
